Richmond Training Centre was established in the year 2000, in the town of Richmond Hill, under the direction of Bob Emerson, former Junior Men’s Champion of Canada, also Founder, Co-owner and Director of Three Seasons Skating School for over 20 years.
The centre’s objective is to create a journey for all levels of skaters to achieve their highest levels, goals & dreams in figure skating. The facility has all the requirements necessary for training the beginner skater through to the top national and world level athlete.
Richmond Training Centre is located at 1300 Elgin Mills Rd East, at Richmond Green Sports Centre & Park on a 102 acre parcel of land at the sports corridor of Leslie Street and Elgin Mills Road, in the Tom Graham Sports Complex (Arena) consists of two international size ice surfaces 87’ by 200’, an outdoor artificial figure 8 ice skating track, and the Richmond Hill Sports Hall of Fame.
Our main figure skating facility is a heated arena equipped with stationary and mobile harnesses, a full size 15’ ceiling off-ice training room, ballet bars, floor to ceiling mirror and suspended floor, with access to Video, Music Equipment, as well as locker storage, a coaches room , a meeting room, and an administration office.
Included on the property is Richmond Green Secondary School, a full library located adjacent to the school a full size soccer field, in a serene park setting.
Our coaches are NCCP certified, most are formally of top level national status. On going education is a high priority with our coaching staff.
The Richmond Training Centre is an all year round facility with an open door policy allowing coaches and skaters from all over the world to access our full service facility and hospitality.
