Amanda is a grade 12 student in an High Performance Athletic Program in Pickering, Ontario. Her strong work ethic and desire to succeed has helped her to excel both on the ice and in the classroom.

In addition to her illustrious singles career, Amanda was an accomplished Pair skater. In 1996, Amanda was the COS Pre-Novice Pair Bronze Medallist, which earned her the right to compete at the Eastern Canadian Championships, where she and her partner finished 7th.
