Spring Gala 2005

The spring gala was a tremendous success. With over 175 people attending, the house rocked!!!! Our very own, Neil Carpenter, acted as MC. Through a wonderful powerpoint presentation, we introduced our large team of competitive skaters and honoured our skaters who had excellent seasons in 2004-2005. A silent auction helped keep things hopping during dinner, and raised money for the RTC Competitive Skaters' Fund. A night of dancing capped a perfect event.

Special thanks goes to Tara Ferguson, chairperson of this year's gala, and her committee of Linda Bridge, Neil Carpenter, Geoff Dionisio, Kent Grice and Astrid Shrubb. As always, Bob Emerson spent many hours helping.

This event is unique!!! The organizing committee is entirely made up of our coaches who volunteer their time to ensure that this evening is a tremendous success. Because of their hard work and effort, our competitive skaters and their families are helped out financially. THANK YOU from all the skaters and their families.
