Kristy Dobson

Kristy is a Grade 11 French Immersion honour student and has been skating since the age of two. Kristy has been active in competitive skating as well as modeling for the Figure Skating Boutique for the past 7 years. Kristy started her "professional" career in 1993, skating in Kurt Browning's Emmy winning special "You Must Remember This". In 1997, Kristy was in the Sunkist Orange Juice commercial with Josee Chouinard, which aired for two years, including during the 1998 Winter Olympics. More recently, she was a skating double for the star, in the movie “Blizzard”. Blizzard was released in the theatres in December, 2003 and is currently in video stores. In the spring of 2003, Kristy was the guest skater for the Osprey Figure Skating Club Ice Show. Kristy also participated in the 2004 ING Christmas party and skated to "Walking in a Winter Wonderland".

Interests and Hobbies

Kristy loves to work out at the gym. Her favorite female skater is Sasha Cohen. Kristy is also a dedicated sibling, helping her younger sister, Victoria with her skating.
