Shannon Edling

Shannon has had a very accomplished career, and it is only getting started! She has had some fun adventures with skating including the opportunity to be the body double in the Disney Movie "Ice Princess" and being the lead in Newmarket Skating Club's Carnival of 2005 as Ariel in "The Little Mermaid". Shannon has been in top 3 standings in each of her Canadian competitions during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. She has completed her gold tests in free skate, skills and dance, and she has one diamond dance as well. Shannon placed first of all competitors from Ceontr al Section at the 2005 Pre-Novice Summer Skate and 9th at the 2005/2006 Pre-Novice Sectionals. She holds her Pre-Novice, Novice and Junior Ladies Comeptitive tests, and placed 1st in her flight at the 2006 Central Section Summer Skate.
