2007 Canadian Pre-Novice
Men's Silver Medallist
Shaquille started skating at the age of six and has been successful
ever since. He originally began to skate because he wanted to
go to work with
his mom, who is currently still coaching him.
Shaquille
continued
skating because he liked to jump and skate fast. Shaquille is
a Skate Canada double gold medallist in Freeskate and Skills
and has passed two of his Senior Silver Dances. Competitively,
Shaquille has passed his
Senior
Competitive
Freeskate.
During the competitive season, Shaquille works with a number
of coaches: Yvan Desjardins, Mark
Batka,
Paige Aistrop,
and David
Islam.
Shaquille is currently homeschooled. He also plays basketball
for the Roadrunners Midget Boys Rep. Team.
