Leisa has been teaching skating for sixteen years. She is a Skate Canada gold medalist in dance, and well as a Skate Canada silver medalist in freestyle and skills. Leisa is a level 3 certified coach. She hopes to complete both her level 4 and 5 certification. Leisa offers her students both on and off-ice coaching. Her off-ice indicates jump and spin technique, stretch and flexibility, and goal setting. Leisa taught at the Granite Club for ten years, and was their pre-competitive co-ordinator. She was a Sport Seneca elite and pre-elite coach for eight years. Leisa also taught at the Canadian Ice Academy for three years. Leisa has coached competitors at the provincial, national, and junior international level. Her students have medaled at the proviincial and sectional level, and have a top five finish at Junior Nationals. Leisa's long term goals are to coach an Olympian.
